Nottingham Forest have confirmed that striker Chris Wood has signed a new contract through until the summer of 2027.
Wood, 33, was due to be out of contract at the end of this season, which is on track to be his most prolific at Premier League level. The New Zealand international has scored 14 goals in 21 league games for Forest this term, matching his tallies from last season with the City Ground club and his 2019-20 campaign with Burnley.
The Athletic reported earlier this week that Wood was close to finalising his contract extension at Forest.
